What is your photography style?

I describe my style as natural, documentary, and relaxed. My goal is to capture your wedding as it really happened, rather than turning the day into one long photoshoot. I focus on genuine moments, real emotions, and all the little interactions you might not even notice on the day.
When it's time for portraits or family photos, I'll give you as much guidance as you need so you never feel awkward or unsure. I want your photos to feel like you, not like you're acting for the camera.
We've never been photographed before. Will you help us?

Absolutely. Most of the couples I photograph tell me they're nervous about being in front of a camera, and by the end of the day they're surprised by how easy it felt.
You don't need any modelling experience. I'll gently guide you into natural positions and keep you moving so nothing feels forced or overly posed. My job is to help you relax, have fun, and forget the camera is even there.
How many hours of photography should we book?

Every wedding is different, but here's a general guide:
4 hours – Ceremony, family photos, couple portraits, and the beginning of the reception.
6 hours – Everything above, plus more getting ready or more of the reception.
8 hours – The most popular option, covering preparations through to dancing.
10+ hours – Perfect if you want the complete story of your day from start to finish.
If you're unsure, I'm always happy to help build a timeline and recommend the amount of coverage that best suits your plans.
How can I contact you?

Once you've reached out through my contact form, we'll organise a quick chat so I can hear more about your plans and answer any questions.
If we're the right fit, your date is secured with a signed contract and a booking fee.
Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I'm based in Brisbane, but I regularly photograph weddings throughout the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Northern New South Wales, and beyond. I've also photographed weddings internationally.
If your wedding is further away, just let me know the location and I'll provide a clear quote that includes any travel costs upfront.
How far in advance should we book?

Many couples book between 12 and 18 months before their wedding, particularly for spring and autumn Saturdays.
If your wedding is coming up sooner, it's still worth getting in touch. Occasionally I have last-minute availability, especially for weekday weddings or smaller celebrations.
When will we receive our photos?

I know you'll be excited to relive everything, so I always aim to send a preview gallery within a few days of your wedding.
Your full gallery is usually delivered within 6–8 weeks, giving me the time to carefully edit every image rather than rushing the process.
Will you help us plan our photography timeline?

Do you photograph candid moments during the reception?

Yes—and they're often some of my favourite images.
While everyone is enjoying themselves, I'll be quietly documenting speeches, laughter, hugs, dancing, and all the little moments happening around the room that help tell the complete story of your wedding.

A documentary approach allows you to spend more time with your family and friends and less time standing in front of the camera. Years from now, it's often the real moments—the laughter, tears, hugs, and quiet interactions—that become the most meaningful photographs.
How do family photos work?

Before your wedding, I'll ask you to send through a list of the family group combinations you'd like.
Having a list helps keep everything organised and means we can finish family photos quickly, allowing you to get back to celebrating with your guests.
